How long have you been volunteering at Caring Hands?
Since February of 2020.
What inspired you to serve at Caring Hands?
My friend Sherry Vanderploeg suggested it and I’m so glad she did!
What do you typically do when you volunteer?
I set up displays at Secondhand Treasures and organize the sales floor.
Tell us about a time you were blessed by your work as a volunteer at Caring Hands.
God blesses me every time I volunteer. Caring Hands is a great place to spend my time volunteering. I get to do what I think is fun and still feel like I am helping others. I love knowing that everything that goes out the door is helping people in need. I love the smiling faces as I see people coming and going. I couldn’t ask for better leadership than Melanie, Windy, and Aime. God put these special women in my life, along with all the other volunteers who are so fun to work with.
What do you wish people knew about Caring Hands?
We are able to offer special deals because people generously donate to Secondhand Treasures. God has really blessed our ministry.
