Are you looking for a unique volunteer opportunity to help out Caring Hands? How about a BREAD RUN! It’s an easy route, just pick up bread at Pleasant Hill HyVee and drive it to Caring Hands. 8 AM Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Pick your day(s) while the selection is still at its best!

Donations made to Caring Hands Outreach Center directly help those in need. Only 3% of our revenue goes towards administrative costs.

We know a lot of people who want to help by providing product for Caring Hands Food Pantry, the following are our most requested items:

Most needed food items:

  • Cream of Mushroom Soup 10 oz
  • Cream of Chicken Soup 10 oz
  • Elbow Macaroni
  • Pork and Beans
  • Chili Beans
  • Egg Noodles 12-Oz (Dry)
  • Tuna, canned

Personal items needed:

  • Tooth brush, individually wrapped
  • Bar of Soap,
  • Hygiene products (feminine)
  • Shampoo

Clothes Hanger Items Needed:

  • Girls Underwear (new only)
  • Children’s Clothing
  • Towels
  • Sheets
  • Blankets
  • Comforters

We need a driver to use either our van or their own mini-to-full size van to stop by the food bank on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings to pick up produce and eggs
